1. If I cancel my AOL account and get a new one would I be able to still use the existing powertools.

1. If I cancel my AOL account and get a new one would I be able to still use the existing powertools.

Your PowerTools registration number is tied to your AOL Master (Primary) screen name. If you cancel your current AOL account and get a new one, you will need to request a new registration number for PowerTools for your new AOL account (you can get up to 3 subsequent registration numbers at no cost.) You can obtain a new PT reg # by emailing the following information to [e-mail]:

- Your primary AOL Master Screen Name (go to Keyword: NAMES, and give the first name on that list).
- The name and version of the product.
- The current serial number from PowerTools as installed on your current computer (this can be found in the "Help" > "About" screen.)
- Your full name.
- The Zip code for your billing address.
- Your phone number with area code.

2. Is there a way I can put my copy of PT on CD and restore it when I need to.

The program itself would have to be reinstalled on the new computer. The installation process ensures necessary system files and Registry entries are installed on the computer.

As for your personal PT data (address book, favorites, custom phrases, etc) they can all be backed up on another media and then restored into your new PT installation.

3. Will I be able to retrieve my serial # if I need to.
