You simply need to resize the chat room.
To do this, click on the thick grey divider bar that runs up and down on the chat room. (It's just to the left of the "Here" tab). Once you move your mouse over this bar the mouse icon will change from an arrow to one similar to this: <-||->
When this happens, click and drag the mouse to your right.
This should fix your problem, if not, let me know.

Follow these steps.
[Exit/close PowerTools before you perform these steps]
1. Click the Windows Start button, click Run, and enter: REGEDIT 2. Double click to expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder. 3. Double click to expand Software, then expand BPS SoftWare. 4. Double click to expand PowerTools 12. 5. With the PowerTools folder highlighted, look for: RichChat Panes <-- delete that subfolder. RichChat Window <-- delete that subfolder. 6. Close the Registry Editor, and restart PowerTools.

Enter a chat room. Resize it. Click on Windows > Remember Window Size and Position. Click on Windows > Forget Window Size and Position. Exit the chat room.
What happens now?
