Does it happen with all Wav Wrappers, or just this one?
If your wav wrapper looks like this:
Will not work: •´~`•×Oº°'´¨~¨`·({wav%})´¨~¨`'°ºOו´~`• Notice the one bracket { is red and the other is not. Both must be the same color.
Will work: •´~`•×Oº°'´¨~¨`·({wav%})´¨~¨`'°ºOו´~`•
Is that the case here?
If not, can you see *any* color text for your name when just chatting?

No sir it happens with all wav wrappers, I thought maybe some files had been corrupted, so i even made a new wav wrapper and nothing, i also even tried to check just using plain wav as a wrapper it also is stripped of its color and will not play. Yes sir i can see all color in chat room and also the different fonts. I tried to copy and paste the color wav wrapper to you in this but it also stripped the color So i was not able to show you that the wrappers are made correctly i even tried using the ones that are premade and still nothing. Thank you Carley

Cpyrowoman007: {s alert} Cpyrowoman007: {wav%} Rocky, I can see all colors in the chat room and my sounds will play in the room but it still strips the color from the wrapper only on wav wrappers, my wrappers around friends names do not get stripped. also if i just copy the variable to the chat window it will not strip the color, i have even unloaded powertools and reloaded it and still the same, I tried to copy and paste it to you to show you the above from a chat, the alert played but stripped the color and when i sent the wav variable by itself with no wav in it, the color stayed and did not get stripped. Please does any one have any ideas at all? ?? Thanks

Could you post the System Information Report to these boards?
Click on START > (All) Programs > BPS Software > BPS System Info.
Once the utility loads and the fields fill with text, click on the "Copy to Clipboard" button.
In your reply post, right-click > select Paste.

The problem might be your version of AOL.
I remember at one time, AOL put a limitation on HTML being used with the "send wav" command.
Can you use colored text and type {S Gotmail} and send it to the chat, does it stay in color? Or is it defaulted to black as well?
You are also using a VERY old version of PowerTools 10 (10.0.0.69)... It's possible this issue was already cured years ago -- email me and I'll send you a link to the latest, and final version of PowerTools 10.... BPSRocky@aol.com
