AIM logging

I just used the AIM and it logged on my message but has not been logging my daugher's AIM on the same computer. It is set to monitor all. Please advise. It is the old version of AIM. 5.9.6089

Please post your BPS system information following these steps:

1. Click the Windows "Start" button.

2. Click your mouse on "All Programs" to get a list of all installed programs on your system.

3. Click your mouse on the "BPS SoftWare" program group.

4. Click on "BPS System Info" and wait for the window to load completely.

5. Once fully loaded, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button on the "BPS System Info" window (nothing will happen visibly -- please do not copy anything else to the Windows Clipboard until finished.)

6. Click the "Reply" button in this thread, right click in the message body, and then select "Paste" from the menu. This will paste your complete system info in your post.

7. Click the "Post Message" button.

Make certain the AOLSpyware program is set to allow Watch Right. This program falsely identifies Watch Right as Spyware.
Then reinstall Watch Right.

Let me know your results.

Both the spyware and the firewall are set to allow Watch Right. I do not have the AOL anti-virus but have another program. I can open and read the Watch Right. It is just not logging the AIM...?

Sorry, we are working on Watch Right to release a new version which clears up some issues with Triton.
I was hoping the new build would be available for you to try but we hit a small snafu while internally testing this new version.

I thought you folks at Watch Right should know that I have downloaded the new update twice. It is " 2002.0.0.79" NOT "2006.0.79"....I did it once and then noticed it said 2002 not 2006 so I went back and redownloaded it and got the same result. People may wonder about the date inaccuracy.

How did the newer version of Watch Right work for you?

Absolutely nothing different...no IM or AIM from my child whatsoever and I purposely sat here and watched her use the AIM to several people..could there be some problem with the internet explorer reading the info. I do not know what else to do...checking other programs now..

Watch Right doesn't require IE to "read" the data it logs.

Is your daughter using AIM or AOL and *not* AIM Express?
AIM Express is a java version of AIM which is created from a website --- Watch Right cannot log this version.

Now that you've installed this newer WR version, could you please post an updated System Information Report too?

AIM ..the 5.9 one...and it was also locking up the computer yesterday....i will post the system report..i did have her use both aol im and the aim...neither logged..
