I am not inclined to unistall AOL SSC program and have to resort to separate outside programs. I have had watch right for several years and have never had an issue like this one.
I will again try to check with AOL but they tend to say it is your program that is not working right so I should contact you. Right now it is monitoring websites and email read. I am NOT getting the AIM monitored at all. NOTHING..even with the anti virus turned off....any suggestions for that? I know it is supposed to monitor IM and AIM.

Can you launch Triton, click on FILE > Help > About AIM and tell me the version you're using.

Your first System Information Report showed Triton as a running process which is why I figured it was that version of AIM.
I have the latest version of regular AIM (5.9.6089) on my computer and I am able to monitor my conversations with Watch Right.
I did find a problem when testing the new "AIM Triton 1.5", Watch Right is not monitoring any conversations with this particular build.
Something on your computer must be preventing AIM from being read by Watch Right. There are many add-on programs for AIM (for example: Dead AIM) have any of those been installed? Have you tried to completely remove the AIM directory (C:\Program Files\AIM or \AIM 95) and reinstall?

Rocky, No I haven't tried that. I know my daughter will be annoyed about having to set it up again. Can you tell me how to do that so that I don't forget any steps and install only what I need?

Sorry for the delay. The recent Microsoft Windows Update nuked my installation of Windows XP and I was forced to reinstall Windows.
I don't have any more suggestions for you. Let me have the programmer review the thread to see if he can come up with anything.

Rocky - Thanks...to sum it all up..I have the latest version of Watch Right and it has been reinstalled several times...I cannot access Watch Right unless the AOL virus protection is turned OFF...Watch Right is NOT monitoring my daughter's AIM...regular AIM account with her AOl screen name as it should be...

I cannot access Watch Right unless the AOL virus protection is turned OFF... If the AOL virus protection is misidentifying Watch Right as spywware, and therefore what is preventing Watch Right from functioning properly, there is unfortunately nothing we can do about it. There should be a way to set the AOL antivirus to always allow or ignore Watch Right. If there isn't, you can always turn the AOL program off when you want to use Watch Right, or contact AOL technical support again to ask them if there's a way to set an always-allowed/ignored program and how to do this.

Yes, there should be a simple way for AOl to tell me how to set the anit-virus program to allow Watch Right and I have asked them again and again for this. They don't seem to know how to do much other than looking up the answers for things on the site as I already know how to do. Needless to say it is very frustrating and I do wonder if I am the only AOL user that is currently experiencing this problem.
I do turn it off to log on to WR but as I said before it is not logging any of the AIM....Why is this??? It is supposed to log both IM and AIM and it set to do so but is not doing it. Perhaps someone can explain this please!!

When I did finally get the AOL Safety and Security program installed (personally I think this program lead to the problems I was having with Windows XP) I was able to find out how to "allow" files falsely identified as viruses. If this isn't an option with the AOL software and Watch Right is being falsely identified then AOL will need to fix this on their end. It is possible the two programs just aren't compatible with another. Considering you have to disable the AOL Virus checker before you can even open the access panel is a good indication.
