Hi...I use AOL 8.0 plus and PT10 now but at one time I downloaded AOL 9.0 and PT12. I no longer use 9.0 but PT12 is still on this computer which I am trying to clean up. Can I remove/uninstall PT12 without affecting PT10's functions...wondering if they share files?
Thanks, Chris

Chris,
I wouldn't use the Add/Remove Programs applet because that will remove shared files between the two. However, if you are concerned about space, just delete the C:\Program Files\PowerTools 12 folder and any entry pointing to the PT 12 file from the start menu (just right-click > select delete on each entry to remove).
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Jeromy. Oddly enough under control panel>add/remove only PT10 is listed, not PT12 so couldn't go that route anyway. Likewise there is no listing under processes for PT12, only PT10, so I was confused if there was file sharing. I've deleted some PT12 files that were empty and yes I am trying to make more space to defrag, speed file/program access and reduce memory usage.
